Ana-Maria Crețu lives and works in Bristol. By day she does research in philosophy and history of science. Also, by day, and sometimes by night, she write poems, essays, children's stories, and short stories. Ana's love of movies started at an early age before she had even seen her first feature film and long before she saw her first film in the cinema. It started with Charlie Chaplin's films, from which her dad would often recount entire scenes, so faithfully that she could picture them. A thousand films later, her love of cinema found its artistic expression in poetry. Ana loves cats and thinks a lot about cats and the apocalypse and writes poems about both. Though not usually at the same time.
