Divine Feminine Clay Art: Creating a figurine of the Goddess Freya at L'Étoile Studio
See event details

A event held at L'Étoile Studio on Saturday 6th June. The event starts at 17:30.

Creating a Clay Figurine of Freya is a special event dedicated to exploring the divine feminine through the art of clay modeling. In this session, we will focus on Freya, the powerful Norse goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, war, and magic. Participants will have the opportunity to craft a clay figurine inspired by her rich symbolism, allowing you to connect with her energy and essence.

During the session, we will explore the origins and depictions of Freya, learning how she has been honored across different cultures and historical periods. We will also discuss how to set up an altar to invite her divine power into your life, deepening your connection to the sacred feminine.

As a visual reference, we will examine traditional representations of Freya and other goddess figures, noting her unique attributes and symbolism. The figurine can be designed in a simple or more elaborate style, making it suitable for all levels of experience. Beginners will receive guidance and helpful tips, while more experienced participants are encouraged to experiment and add their own creative touches.

What to expect:

- Myth storytelling to inspire reflection
- Crafting a clay figurine of Freya
- Infusing our creations with personal intentions and insights
- Using our making process as a form of sympathetic magic to convey our reflections and aspirations
- Sharing our insights and celebrating collective renewal through our shared creations

Join us for an inspiring 2.5-hour session at L'étoile Art Space—an opportunity to connect with the goddess within and express her divine energy through art.
