Fill the darkest days of the year close to Yule with creativity and magic!
In this workshop we will explore how to bring more enchantment into our daily lives. We will start with a gentle grounding and a playful sensory exercise to connect to our senses.
Our creative activity will be making a magic wand from a driftwood or an amulet from a slice of wood. We will use wood burning tools to decorate them with ornaments and glue guns for sticking on various natural treasures including feathers, stones, shells, pinecones, seeds, lichen, seaweed and more. You will be invited to find symbolic meanings in your chosen objects (e.g. protection, courage, compassion…). All materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring special objects you would like to include to your piece (e.g. crystals, beats...). There will also be an option to try golden leaf technique.
At the end of the workshop, you will have a unique magic wand or amulet that will carry the power of the chosen objects and burned-in symbols.
