ELIZABETH PARKER:
Elizabeth Parker is co-founder of poetry group The Spoke. She co-hosted Bristol poetry night Under The Red Guitar. Her pamphlet Antinopolis was published by Eyewear in 2016. Her collection In Her Shambles was published by Seren in 2018. Her second Seren collection, Cormorant, was published in February 2024. Elizabeth grew up in The Forest of Dean and now lives in Bristol with her partner and two sons. She was a secondary school English teacher and is working on two novels inspired by her experiences.

GEOFFREY BREEZE & THE MAD AXEMAN:
Geoffrey Breeze’ sister recently published her autobiography in which she remarked that he refused to get into his pushchair unless he had on  a full Red Indian feathered head dress and a clay pipe in his mouth.

Many people also enquire about the Mad Axeman and his real name.  Well, to you, it’s Mr Axeman.

CLARA BULLOCK:
Clara Bullock is a poet and music journalist. She has taken poetry classes at the University of Bristol and edits the poetry zine Good Bones. Clara regularly appears at poetry events in Bristol and is currently working on her first pamphlet.

JOHN REA:
John Rea is an Irish poet and artist from County Antrim who has been based in Bristol since 2001. He began writing poetry when he discovered the city's phenomenal spoken word community and he has been performing regularly at open mic events for the past three years. Using vernacular language, humour and narrative rhythms, John has addressed a broad range of themes in his work, including love, loss, addiction, the impact of technology, and his experience of the Troubles. He is currently working towards publishing his first collection. When he's not writing, he is usually cycling, listening to music or somewhere in nature, often all three together.
