Dancing on the lines between soul, trip hop and UK Jazz, Samantha Lindo creates a style that is not easily box-able with songs that not only beautifully crafted but utterly full of life.

As Greta Thunburg, the female teenage activist takes the world by storm, Samantha’s forthcoming single ‘Lips’ is a celebration of all of the womxn and girls globally who are stepping up to protect our planet.

The song itself was a favourite of audiences and is a banging soul, pop tune with a hip-hop beat, eighties synth, an achingly catchy keys riff with Haim-like tight female harmonies to set it all off.

The first of her three releases of the coming year, she feels it embodies the words of renowned author and activist Vandana Shiva when she says that “we are either going to have a future where women lead the way to make peace with the Earth or we are not going to have a human future at all”.

‘Weaving poetry, spoken word and beautiful lyricism through her songs, Samantha presented some very real and raw issues of love, life and the human condition through her uplifting tones.’

‘With her talented band of musicians, I can well imagine Samantha shooting up to the top with an alarming speed – eyes peeled for this girl!’
