In a frontier town where the dust never settles, A Messy Western ensues. The sheriff’s gone missing, saloon doors swinging, and the town are dancing til dawn. Lowlifes, lawbreakers and lone-riders all coming together to get looser than a plate of Spanish spaghetti. All are welcome, no matter your background, accent, age, race, sexuality or gender. Outlaws and angels. Gunslingers and gamblers. Ranch hands, rail workers and bank robbers. This is a lawless land, but it’s a friendly one. Two rooms powered by Loose Sound and Sensi Sound, packing more punch than a kick to the chest by a horse. Disc jockeys, live music, Wild West games and interactions, immersive decor and visuals, it's gonna be boss. You better cowboy up if you’re taking this lot on. Herd handlers, bandits, bounty hunters and more. There'll be all sorts of characters to brush shoulders with. So holster your weapons and loosen your boots! What they lack in brain cells they make up for in musical know-how… and best believe they know how! This gang of cow herders can control a crowd, so saddle up cowboys THE SLY BASTARDS are in town. Anwar - It is a real pleasure and privilege to have our good friend Anwar cause mayhem at A Messy Western. Coming off the back of his breakthrough album “Corfu 2013”, everyone’s favourite Uncle will be blasting out cowboy boogies and breakbeat barnstormers for the bandits and outlaws. He is an incredibly talented producer and performer, and honestly one of the weirdest people we know. It’s hog-killin’ time! Hugo Baskerville - The only DJ who sounds like a cowboy already, Hugo’s gonna take you on a journey back in time to his own vision of A Messy Western. Starting the adventure off with some self produced cowboy dubstep, picking up the pace as it goes on. This cowboy cares about his craft, so expect some curated quality amongst the chaos. Not one to miss! Trans Siberian Express - This bunch of banditos are here to set the tone off right. They’ve burning the breeze on a stolen train and the only stop is Loco Klub. Musical genius Wild West style, these fellas are serious. Harmonicas and sh*t. All aboard the Trans Siberian Express! Urban Goose - The Goose caught a bullet to the wing on his way home up north, and now he’s licking his wounds in the saloon. A little treat for the early birds as he’ll be waving people in to country/western and any other tunes he considers “rural”. Room 2 (Sensi Sound): Joeti the Wig - The baddest bandit with the biggest barnet in all of Bristol, bound to have you bounce around the room like a beggar in a ballroom. Knees up, elbows out, this bandits got a few tricks up his sleeve. Proper Icon. If you haven't heard by now, you just mustn't be listening. El-ze - Bristol’s favourite Cowgirl Queen bound to boggle your minds. Imagine you’ve sank too many moonshines in the saloon and been sucked into a wormhole, transported to a hoedown on the moon. Be quick to the draw on the dance floor for this one. El-ze ain’t one to be messed with. Dub Johnson - Cowboy Jungle. Dub Johnson will be riding into town in her usual fashion... rocking heavy breakbeats and some proper old skool DnB, Dubby J will be drawing tunes faster than you can touch your holster. Eni - Eni will be blending tip top trip hop, jungletek and hard house all wrapped together in a western lasso. It'll be all over the place, but at least you'll be in the right one. Made up to have Eni on the lineup, absolute gangster and proper lovely soul. You'll be smiling so wide it'll split your face! Keep an eye out for all the extra bits and bobs! We've got fairground games, bounty hunters, local drunks, the sheriff and their stocks, dodgy card dealers, cowboys, cowgirls, cows, etc. Any offensive or Abusive behaviour will not be tolerated so stay vigilant! If you experience or witness anything of the sort the please report it to a member of the crew, Loco Klub staff or security and it will be dealt with accordingly.
