A event held at Loco Klub on Friday 17th October. The event starts at 19:00.

Into the tulgey tunnels we tread, hearts bumping to a beat of delight and dread, ghouls, vamps and spirits dance enthralled, come one and all to the MONSTA BALL!

Foxtrot into our fabulously freakish frenzy of cabaret, live music, walkabout, decor and community connection. House of Boussé are BACK with our next unmissable installation of trans - led storytelling, uplifting trans creatives in Bristol and beyond.

World builders, radical imaginators and chaos creatures fathered by Gender Criminal, House of Boussé are a unique and unapologetically political storytelling troupe resisting relentless transphobic rhetoric in the UK. Rehumanising through art, expect trans authenticity, sensational schemes, and stuff that gender-nonconforming dreams are made of.

LIVE X DJ set from
PRINCESS XIXI

Artist, writer, cultural critic and DJ Princess Xixi is the London queer scene’s best kept secret. With a sound as transgressive as it is rooted in cultural and historical literacy, her artistry is a melting pot of different genres and influences as diverse as the city that raised her, bridging gaps and teasing out connections between ostensibly disparate (even contradictory) cultures and communities. Hoodstock, Riposte, Arize, Anti.Net, Solidarity Tapes, Neoprene Genie, Inferno, NiNE8 Collective and ESEA Sisters are just a few of the collectives that rep her. Her genre-defying style - which she has labeled ‘dollstep’ - mixes elements of hyperpop, UK rap, emo, alt pop, noise, UK bass, punk, grime and more.

She matches her sonic freak with a ferocious pen game and undeniable skills as a vocalist, deploying her impressive vocal range across techy grime flows, harsh metal screams and emotive singing. This dynamic approach can be seen through her legendary hybrid sets, which blend live performance with her skills as a DJ. Seeking to find balance in the chaos, her precision and singular artistic vision grounds her in an artistry that wears its influences on its sleeves while remaining unlike anyone else in the game. You can listen to her debut EP ‘a dolls house’ out now on all platforms.

Our chaos cabaret monsters will cha - cha - charm your souls away...
