A clubnight held at Loco Klub on Friday 23rd January. The event starts at 22:30.
Yes yes, we’re doing another one! Big rigs, big vibes, big tunes and most importantly, a big cause. Given the political nonsense we’ve all been subjected to over the last year, we felt it was about time that we put on another charity shindig raising money for those affected by the ongoing genocide in Palestine. Multiple crews from the South West coming together with our Northern sound system family, pulling out all the stops to throw a night to remember.
Tickets are available now on Headfirst, with similar structure to last time - tiers will increase as time goes on, not based on number of sales. We’ve done our best to keep ticket prices affordable, but with a smaller venue and therefore lower capacity, we’ve had to increase prices to hit a similar fundraising goal. Be sure you nab one sooner rather than later if you need to save some money, but if not then please consider donating more than the base price - each tier is pay-what-you-can!
This time around it’s going to be a little bit different. We have been working hard behind the scenes to bring you a big old shindig, combining the efforts of 13 crews and curating lineups in both rooms that reflect our scenes wonderful diversity. Here’s what to expect:
In room one we’ll have the rave sounds. Two gigantic linkup stacks pumping out your classic broken beats, ruffneck jungle wizardry, deep cut acid lines and punchy kickdrums with all of your favourite free party bangers in the mix as well.
In room two, we’ll have 3 systems battling it out soundclash style, playing a mixture of dub, reggae, world music and a few left field surprises in there too - we can’t wait to show you what we’ve got in store for you here, it’s gonna be really special.
As always with any of our events there is absolutely no room for hatred, bigotry or predatory behaviour. If you fall in to any of these categories you will be removed and will face a ban on all future events. If you see someone acting inappropriately, or if you are made uncomfortable by someone’s actions please approach us or the wonderful staff at the venue. You will be heard and taken seriously.
