That’s the ethos that The Rin Tins have kept since their inception in early 2011 and since then the sextet have dedicated themselves to bringing folk fuelled jazz jive boogie to the Bristol scene.

Using a loopstation to layer violin, guitar, beatbox and percussion, Wenro creates beautiful soundscapes influenced by folk, jazz and world music.

Lounge Cat Ideals:
Lounge Cat Ideals' Rowdy Swing sound pits riotous clarinet lines against delicate vocal harmonies, whilst drawing on the innate energy of Ska and Gypsy Jazz to keep feet moving.
The band was born in the midst of a biting Bristolian winter, when a rag-tag kindle of kittens huddled round a wood fire and began making their first primitive sounds to keep their tiny paws from shivering. Now, as a fully formed 6 piece ensemble, the Cats have grown to forge their own sound as well as a stomping live show, venturing to many a welcoming venue across the UK.
Lounge Cats have quickly become festival regulars, appearing at Glastonbury, Boomtown Fair, Bearded Theory, and Maui Waui to name but a few.
