KNIGHTS OUT THE THIRD!
Get involved in our mad immersive medieval playground at Loco Klub on the 14th November.
The King is opening up his castle once again, for a knees up of the ages.
All are welcome, no matter ones social class, age, race, sexuality, gender, religion… Sirs to surfs, princesses to wenches, the king just wants to party. Lay down your swords and shields for a knight of merriment. It’s time to put the evil in medieval. The rave in brave. On the 14th of November we feast on beats worthy of a royal hearing.
Once again, The King has spared no expense, and alongside this beautiful selection of live music and disc jockeys will be all sorts of twists and turns. Again, with TWO sound systems!
The whole of Albion has been sent an invite so expect to meet all sorts of characters. There will be fortune telling, tavern games, circus acts, town criers, jesters, jigs, magic tricks, hobby-horsing, apple bobbing, preposterous punishments, and an "actual bear”.
Disc Jockeys supplying rhythms from all over the realm (ditties to dubstep, jigs to jungle, medieval mash ups and many more). Prophetic musical performances written in ancient tomes. Fantastical decor from a forgotten land. Circus tricks that have travelled the world. A bunch of medieval characters and activities to get involved with, and whatever else we can fit in before the gates open x
LOOSE GENRE LIST: Jigs and ditties, celtic techno, psychedelic rock, chicago house, disco, booty bass belters, slag-tek, bouncy medieval mashups, the lascivious pleasings of the loot… the list goes on.
LINEUP
ROOM 1 (The Great Hall - powered by LOOSE SOUND):
The Twirls (01:00 - 03:00):
The Twirls are back to shake your back medieval style. This hen-do gone wrong have found themselves stuck in the year 1000… but the only thing that’s changed is their audience. Booty bass bouncers and slag-tech galore. These wenches gone wild are closing down The Great Hall the way Guinevere intended. 2 hours of silly, sweaty nonsense to send youse off sweetly. This ones for the witches!
Smoke Herbalot (00:00 - 01:00):
One of the King’s most trusted knights, Herbie has had a vision. Whether it was a message from God or just another hallucination from his pipe, Herbie is on a mission to get down medieval style. Strictly Celtic techno belters. Your favourite jester’s favourite disc jockey. The closest set you’ll get to a real medieval rave. Not one to miss.
Trans Siberian Express (23:00 - 00:00):
Trans-Siberian Express are a one-of-a-kind sextet, blending psychedelic
rock with post-punk energy, funk grooves and experimental synth textures. Drawing influence from all over the realm, their music balances heartfelt song writing with surreal
storytelling and chaotic humour. We had TSE play at our last party, and they were so good we had to get them back for a medieval one. They’re always up for the theme, and are sure to have some medieval wizardy hidden in their tunics, with a medieval rhapsody set for release. This lot are incredible.
Urban Goose (22:30 - 23:00):
The Goose is loose and he’s a little bit raw… expect some vaguely medieval ditties and jigs you could joust to. A silly way to warm up the evening and transport you back to Albion.
ROOM 2 (The Dungeon - Powered by SENSI SOUNDS):
The Holy Chael (02:15 - 3:00):
You’ve been charged by God with the sacred quest of finding the Holy Chael. Expect anything from Gorgo Bordello to the lascivious pleasings of the loot. Absolute legend and Knights Out royalty. Barnstormer galore!
2bfrank (01:30 - 02:15):
We’ve wanted to get Frankie on for some time now. He’s an absolute sweetheart… but don’t let that deceive you. One for the junglists, Frankie will be knocking the sense out of Sensi and anyone else who dares challenge this squire of the realm. There’s no escaping the dungeon. He is an absolute belter who’ll leave you all begging for more.
Aurora b2b XLR8 (00:45 - 01:30):
A mishmash of medieval madness made to make your booties bounce. “Loads of bouncy, tekky, worldly, booty shaking medieval sh*t?”. Whatever the pair have planned, they’re bound to blow your breeches off. Knees up, pants down for this pair.
LoveShak (00:00 - 00:45):
Shak has travelled back in time to teach the serfs how to get down. Technological advancements from the future, not for battle, but for the benefit of you bastards! Chicago house, electro, disco, and a bit of ghetto tech to get you wrecked and raving into battle. This wise sage from the future will have you fighting for a place at the front, so don’t dilly-dally x
-----------------------------------------------------------
In between the two stages of music and madness there’s still plenty to do.
The Tavern (MAIN BAR):
Medieval characters will wave you into our immersive playground as you enter the castle. Britains oldest boozer. Grab a mug of ale, mingle with some medieval folk, or play some dice in The Hole in t’ Wall at the back.
The Grand Banquet (SECOND BAR):
Knights Out’s own banquet situated in between the madness. A place to rest in the heart of the immersion. There’ll be all sorts of medieval weirdos to meet here, and some activities from an older time. Get your fortune read by the ‘Orrible Oracle, try your luck at the apple bobbing barrel, or just sit down and enjoy a tankard with the local executioner. Anything could happen here…
The Courtyard (SMOKING AREA):
A place of solace for those that can’t handle the battlefield… or so you thought. We’ve got a circus street show planned some point later in the evening. Eyes peeled for this Knights Out first… it’ll be mesmerising.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Any offensive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated, so stay vigilant! If you witness or experience anything of the sort please report it to one of the staff, crew or security and it will be dealt with accordingly. The castle is a safe space for all to feel comfortable being a bit ludicrous.
Don’t be a b*llend, or you’ll end up in the stocks!

p.s. fancy dress isn't mandatory but much appreciated. A power ranger is better than a punter.
