A clubnight held at Loco Klub on Saturday 21st January. The event starts at 22:00.

Queerky is back! Come and rave January’s gloom away with your queer family.

For our first edition of 2023 we are chuffed to welcome DJ and selector Dani Whylie. Dani’s energy and onstage presence moves through a captivating mix of genres from underground bass-driven dance music to techno, house, breaks, psytrance, electro and more. Rising start of the UK’s electronic music scene, Dani is resident for Apex and Der Liebe in Bristol and Metripolis at Moles Bath, and throws regular frenzies London’s Shelter, The Ministry of Sound, Floripa and Aquarium. Her impeccable energy, commitment to inclusive nights and driving rhythms made her a perfect choice for Queerky.

A reminder to everyone that this is a queer safer space. Allies that respect the ethics of the party are welcome.

Loco Klub on top of offering one of the most beautiful locations in town, is also renowned for its safeguarding, anti-harassment, and anti-discrimination policies, and the venue is also fully accessible to wheelchair users. Going forward, we are also proud to be working with PHAT—a queer security team that champions welfare, diplomacy and care in Bristol’s night life.

Based on the survey we recently circulated in the community (it’s still time to fill it out!), we will start carrying out a vibe check at entry. You can expect a friendly chat about safer spaces with lovely members of our Queerky team, supported by PHAT members.

Our main aim in carrying out a vibe check is to build a community of queers and allies committed to fostering safer spaces. A lack of commitment to this shared goal is the sole criteria on the basis of which you may be denied the right to entry. In these instances, tickets will be refunded directly via Headfirst.

We will soon be circulating our new safety policy, which we encourage you to read ahead of the party.

Queerky does not have a dress code.
