Nobody remembers exactly when the transmission first appeared. Some say it interrupted European television broadcasts during a thunderstorm in the early 1980s. Others insist it emerged somewhere between the collapse of disco, the rise of cable television and a notorious afterparty that should never have happened.

The footage was fragmented. Distorted. Half soap opera, half cult documentary.

Six uninterrupted hours of glamour, psychological collapse, hotline operators, disco evangelists, surreal aristocrats, velvet decadence, queer prophecy, and emotionally unstable millionaires broadcasting live from an unidentified luxury compound.

The event became known as:

For our third ( sixth for those in the know) birthday, Club Love invites you into the transmission itself.

Step inside a surreal world of collapsing luxury, queer mythology, soap opera psychosis, Berlin dungeon glamour, avant-garde nightlife, darkroom surrealism, televised decadence and velvet cult ritual.

A luxury cult spectacle of hotline confessions, rhinestone clergy, disco sermons, ecstatic dance, queer prophecy, televised salvation, and spiritual collapse.

CULTURAL TRANSMISSIONS
The signal appears to have been influenced by fragments of:

David Lynch’s dream logic and uncanny Americana.

John Waters’ filthy glamour and bad taste aristocracy.

Joan Collins at the height of Dynasty excess.

Elton John disappearing into decadent nightlife folklore.

Chavela Vargas’ heartbreak, drama and emotional intensity.

Blondie’s downtown cool and new wave glamour.

Pedro Almodóvar’s colour, camp, melodrama, and queer storytelling.

Amanda Lear’s disco mystique and European decadence.

Klaus Nomi’s operatic futurism and beautiful strangeness.

DRESS CODE
As always, Club Love remains rooted in fetish, kink, queer nightlife, and creative self expression.Your outfit should feel like it belongs somewhere inside the transmission.

Leather socialites in expensive gloves and ruined diamonds.

Soap opera villains plotting revenge in latex, PVC, leather, corsetry, tailoring, or dramatic eveningwear.

Wealthy divorcées arriving with oversized jewellery, exaggerated silhouettes, fur coats, silk scarves and dangerous intentions.

Berlin cabaret fetishists in harnesses, leather uniforms, mesh, rubber and underground glamour.

Decadent televangelists in rhinestones, velvet suits, sequins, oversized crosses, dramatic robes and cult leader energy.

Disco exorcists wearing metallic fabrics, mirrored details, silver lamé, celestial motifs and nightclub spirituality.

Hotline psychics draped in crystals, flowing fabrics, occult glamour, dramatic makeup and television mysticism.

Rich lesbians in immaculate white tailoring, silk shirts, sunglasses, gold jewellery and suspicious amounts of inherited wealth.

Haunted celebrities wearing faux furs, dark sunglasses, vintage glamour and the visible signs of a public breakdown.

Emotionally compromised millionaires in tuxedos, leather trousers, smoking jackets, opera gloves, pearls and poor life choices.

Surreal aristocrats in exaggerated couture, theatrical accessories, absurd luxury and beautiful excess.

The hotline is always listening.

The transmission cannot be stopped.

The Dynasty remembers everything.
