This Halloween, Club Love throws a wake for the outrageous, the feral, the immortal spirit of Leigh Bowery.

The man who made nightlife his canvas, who turned bodies into sculptures, who staged his own mythology. We’re telling you: he’s risen, and the procession starts here.

Bowery wasn’t drag. He wasn’t fashion. He wasn’t even costume. He was becoming. He built bodies with padding and straps, made faces into masks, turned latex and tulle into armour, and walked into the night as living art. His orbit pulled in Boy George, Michael Clark, Judy Blame, Princess Julia, Lucian Freud, Pam Hogg, McQueen, and the misfits of Taboo and Kinky Gerlinky. The rule was simple: dress as though your life depends on it, or don’t bother.

So hear us clearly:
❌ No tacky Halloween fancy dress.
❌ No horny devils, no zombie nurses, no party-shop catwomen.

This is a funeral procession worthy of a nightlife saint. Come sculpted, masked, distorted, inflated, veiled, reborn. Go abstract. Go geometric. Go horrifyingly glamorous. Glamour with menace. Beauty with bite.

And remember the Club Love code: our dress code isn’t about money, it’s about imagination. The best looks come from bric-a-brac shops, charity finds, glue guns, paint, safety pins, duct tape. Stitch it, staple it, sculpt it. Make it breathe on the dance floor. Surprise us. Surprise yourself.
