Wonky Tonk Toytown at Loco Klub
See event details

A clubnight held at Loco Klub on Thursday 11th June. The event starts at 19:00.

From the creators of Ratcatcher's Ball, Bleakshow presents a night of immersive theatre, cabaret, fire shows, sideshows, live music and DJs.

Once a thriving capital of the Toy Kingdom, Toytown has fallen into disarray since the invention of mobile games and social media slop.

What was once a wonderland has found itself the underland of underhanded, reprimanded, lost and stranded innocence.
Immerse yourself in this vacant apathy; the funeral of fun. There is no joy to be had here - or your money back!

All 5 tunnels with ambitious build.

Toytown Sideshows:
- Doll Decapitation Derby
- Boys Vs Girls Motor Accident Dodgems
- Mouse Trap
- Zoinks Stuffed Animal Charity
- Call Centre
- Barbie Tattoo and Body Modification
- Actionable man - now fully posable!
- and more!

20:00 - 23:00: Cabaret and Micro-Rave
23:00 - 0:00: Kid Carpet
0:00 - 1:30: DJ CDQ Toy Rave

Headliner: Kid Carpet
The final bastion of hope, Kid Carpet is a multidisciplinary musician and performative powerhouse wielding kids toys to aid his holy mission to save the world from the foul forces of playlessness and meaningful employment.

Incoming message from Micro-Rave: URGENT… SCANNERS DETECT!! Toylings, we have received your distress signal and are traversing the stars to ensure your capital will not be turned into slop city. Your celebration and wonderment deserves to thrive, not flail beneath the bureaucratic Bored of Guv’nors. However, the threat is worse than we thought… We suspect that Kid Carpet, your bard and saviour, is in danger of imminent lobotomy. Only YOU, the citizens of ToyTown, can save him and defend your right to playful chaos. Rise up this night, stand in the convergence where maniacal cyborg forces threaten to drain the very essence of your frivolity. Together we will unlock the ancient relics, neutralise the robots and return Toytown to your worthy hands once more. If Kid Carpet falls, Toytown falls with him. Do you have what it takes?
