“AMAZING!"
A 32-year old woman lives a promiscuous seemingly care-free life of sex, drugs and alcohol - with little responsibility.
We meet Meg discussing her most recent one night stand and doing an at- home STI screening kit whilst getting ready for (yet) another date. She uses relationships, drugs and alcohol to self-medicate her lack of sense of identity. This piece follows Meg across the course of an evening, where she discusses the state of her world believing she has all the answers. Maybe her behaviour and life isn’t in as much control as she thinks.
When the news of her Mother’s death hits it forces Meg to examine her past and how she got to where she is - or isn’t - today.
Examining the often turbulent Mother Daughter relationship and how to grieve for someone we're not sure we actually liked but definitely loved.
Please note: this show contains some distressing themes such as sexual violence, drug and alcohol use, profanity.
