QUEERKY X GETFREE: DANCE-OUT at Loco Klub
Tickets on an income scale

A event held at Loco Klub on Tuesday 18th November. The event starts at 18:30.

Queerky & GetFree are proud to present:
DANCE-OUT!

Join us for a midweek sober guided dance experience to help you step into your body and get out of your head.
This is a rave workout for people who like to party and want to look after their body and mind. This is a class for dancers and non-dancers alike, a place to move, play and be free.

The session will start with a powerful workout over pumping beats, we wanna see you sweat!
This will be followed by a guided movement explorations, led by GetFree selected practitioners, to explore your edges and learn new dance moves.
At the end, with lower lights, there will be free dance floor time to get silly together and release that stress.

It’s an improvisation-based training; don't worry about having to learn complicated routines.
No mirrors, no pressure.
Non-performative, this is all about you.
The trance and techno music you love - curated by Queerky!

The world feels messy these days…
Embodied gatherings like this one can empower us and help us to find our happiness and fight back.
Dance is a way to connect to ourselves and others, and it has always been a form of resistance!

Come shake off you demons!

MORE ABOUT QUEERKY

QUEERKY is a rave party, but first of all, it’s a Queer gathering.
Queerky events cultivate a safer space for the LGBTQAI+ community. Allies who respect the ethics of the party are welcomed and valued.

The music ranges from Acid Techno, Trance, Electronica, and Breaks, with a surprisingly distinctive and unifying flavour. Since 2021, the Bristol-based collective has contributed to the growth of the local queer rave culture, keeping the Community at the heart of the project. A homely and warm atmosphere is fostered to create a safer space for everyone to feel comfortable in their skin, accepted and enabled to explore their gender identity in a protected environment.

The project aims to allow the queer community to have a family and a platform for artists to be visible in a society that still privileges cis-heteronormativity.
The collective is also politically involved and proudly anti-patriarchal, anti-racist, anti-homophobic, and anti-transphobic.
