A gig held at Loco Klub on Tuesday 30th June. The event starts at 19:30.
Women-led promotions group Let The Kid Dig is back with another instalment - bringing the people of Bristol the best of underrepresented & underground live acts on the scene.
This time, they're presenting three up-and-coming Femme-fronted artists, blending ethereal grunge, indie, and folk-pop riffs with dreamy lo-fi vocals in the tunnels of Loco Klub.
CLAUDINE: Bristol's brand new soft-psych folk-pop five-piece, full of synth sensibilities and songwriting that will interest fans of Wilco, Cate le Bon and Beach House.
DOGVIOLET: Fusing post-punk grit, gothic atmosphere and folk-tinged melody, Dogviolet tell stories spanning social injustice, familial challenges, sapphic desire and the power of community through botanical imagery.
MOYA SILK: What started as a mis-spoken shopping list item in 2019, Moya Silk is the Alt-rock pseudonym of Exeter, UK based Jaz Pearce. They take inspiration from shoegaze, grunge and 90s indie. Moya Silk's music is written about mundane everyday situations backed by fierce vocals, catchy hooks and distorted guitars. For Fans Of PJ Harvey, Courtney Barnett and Nirvana.
