"Scalping’s patented brand of dark electronic noise, all industrial guitars and throbbing electronics lifted from peak-time Berghain, hails back to the live dance bands of yore. Add to that SŌN’s double modded drum kit live A/V + a euphoric dose of footwork weirdness from K Means."

A
gig
held at Loco Klub
on Wednesday 21st September. The event starts at 19:30.
En Masse returns to Bristol in 2022.
Join us on 21st September, Wednesday, for a mid-week gig down at Loco Klub.
We’re really excited to work with this much beloved space and all of its oddities. Loco Klub is bursting with circus fair and dressing amongst its cavernous tunnels, making it a unique space to get lost in En Masse’s artists.
This event will settle nicely into the space between a live music gig and a club night; expect a mix of DJ sets and live performances from a few Bristol favourites. Think techno in its many forms backed by wicked visuals.
We are proud to welcome (in running order):
K means
SŌN
SCALPING
K means is a reckoning force behind the decks. In a k means set, one might hear anything from footwork to hardcore to wonky and wonderful techno. At Loco, expect to hear this, in addition to some of their darker, grain-er, selections. K means will warm up and keep the sweat on closing out the night.
SŌN; drums, drums, and more drums (machines). We can’t wait to hear SŌN play out a live set with their mix of digital and analogue equipment. With their work in Copper Sounds and Double Vision Studios, SŌN have an affinity for generating hypnotic, staccato-leaning beat patterns. Paired with visuals, this is about to be trance-like.
SCALPING are fresh off the release of their debut album, “Void”. The four-piece live act blends the meeting points of hardcore, rock, and industrial techno. With beautiful artistry SCALPING’s live sets find a way to make visceral jams into something so danceable. We are elated to have them join us at Loco Klub.
Doors and music from 19:30.
