Castration Movie Anthology i. The Fear of Having No One to Hold at the End of the World
(The full title is too long for headfirst!)

Cinema Transexual + UOB Trans Society are thrilled to be presenting Castration Movie Anthology i. Traps - a labyrinthine post-modern epic about gender by writer/director/actress Louise Weard. The first part of this four-part film includes Chapter i. Incel Superman and Chapter ii. Traps Swan Princess.

Anthology i runs for 300 minutes, including an intermission.

Incel Superman follows Turner Stewart, a production assistant who sees his world spiral out of control as he uncompromisingly attempts to shape his life into the one he feels he deserves. Traps Swan Princess follows a trans woman named Michaela “Traps” Sinclair, a sex worker in Vancouver who splits her time between seeing clients and hanging out with her group of trans friends, who finds her relationships strained when she decides to pursue motherhood.

We'll also be showing Part ii on the 11th of December - and Louise Weard herself will be joining us for a Q+A after the film! https://hdfst.uk/e143046

The event will be 18+ only.
You do not need to be affiliated with the University to attend.

Join us from 4:30, screening starts at 5pm.
