Our recent recommendations for Lost Horizon

The self-proclaimed sassiest DJ crew in town blow the socks off Pride the only way they know how: serving QTIPOC-fronted energy for those who wish to D.A.N.C.E. Expect only the finest wile out bass anthems across the Afrodiasporic dancehall / UKF / baile / afrobeats / Latinx spectrum with MC Thai Chi steaming up the mic all night long. Booty Bass returns to close out Pride the way it deserves: loud, sweaty, joyful and unapologetically ours.

The 80s veterans at their last gig swear by Speaking in Tongues - it's the closest you'll ever get to the proper Talking Heads experience, with DJs rocking the Loose Sounds subs til 3am! Loose Sound bring the Speaking in tongues for 60th special

Cirrina Sessions on the Horizon with another whomping day party, this time raising funds for Bristol Anti-Raids’ important work against immigration harassment and deportation. On deck: PTS resident ALYA L serving fractured mutant dance, icy left-field techno and restless club mutations, alongside Collective Leisure’s thudding electro workouts and heavyweight rhythms. Big tip for the heads! Cirrina Sessions are back with an all-day party at Lost Horizon to raise money for Bristol Anti-Raids, bringing along Alya L, Collective Leisure, Eden K and residents.

You can’t spell ragga jungle without Congo Natty. Hell, you can’t even spell jungle. Forging the wickedest sound for almost 40 years now, the original Rebel MC crash lands at Lost Horizon, perfectly paired with Kaya Fyah’s soulful vocals soaring over pure dnb demolition + Anna Prank’s rock solid old skool stylings. Ruff and tuff! A true pioneer returns.

Big multi-genre gig/club racket, raising much-needed cash for Road To Freedom’s work supporting displaced people. Representing guitarland: Trans-Siberian Express and their patented psychedelic splurge-pop, alongside Bunny Boilers’ thrashy riot grrrl action. For the sound system rotters: Soz Lad’s Nymfro in total hard dance tear-out mode with Mizdameaner’s darkside techstep stylings. A NIGHT OF HEAVY NOISE FUNDRAISING FOR THOSE FLEEING WAR AND OCCUPATION
