DIASPORA presents Roots & Radio, a daytime celebration highlighting the cultural power of radio, community, and youth creativity. This event is part of our Arts Council-supported DIASPORA series, which celebrates the legacies of migration, cultural exchange, and the underground music community in Bristol.
Join us for an interactive live radio show, featuring legendary guests and rising Bristol talent, alongside workshops and opportunities to explore careers in radio, DJing, music production, and live performance. The show will be recorded and broadcast later on Ujima Radio, extending its reach beyond the room and into the wider community.
The event will feature a live community radio show from 2PM – 5PM, bringing together Bristol legends and rising talent across multiple genres. Guests include:
