The Mazi Project x Salha’s Sudanese Kitchen: Fundraiser for Sudan at MAZI Community Kitchen

A event on Wednesday 25th February. The event starts at 19:00.

The MAZI Project and Co-Exist Community Kitchen are coming together with Salha’s Sudanese Kitchen to raise vital funds for Tawilla Emergency Room over a three course banquest style meal to help supporting communities affected by the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, ongoing in Sudan.

During the conflict, more than 150,000 lives have been taken across the country, with 12 million people having fled their homes, and 24.6 million people, almost half the population experiencing food insecurity.

In solidarity, we will be listening to our Sudanese community in Bristol, with Salha’s Sudanese Kitchen providing a delicious three-course meal.

The evening will include:

- A three course feast cooking up by Salha
- talk from women from our Sudanese community in Bristol
- A short film on Salha, screened in a separate room throughout the night
- Sudanese community products for sale
- Clear calls to action for how we can all show solidarity and support
- A raffle with fantastic prizes.

قلوبنا مع السودان وأهله الكرام، نسأل الله أن يحفظكم ويمنحكم الأمن والسلام، وأن تعود أرضكم مزدهرة كما كانت وأجمل
Our hearts are with Sudan and its noble people. We ask God to protect you and grant you safety and peace, and to restore your land to be prosperous as it was — and even more beautiful.
