on Saturday 2nd May. The event starts at 11:00.
Calling all nature lovers, gardeners and allotmenteers! Get ready for our Spring plant swap at the Meadows Community Building, on Saturday 2nd May, 11am - 2pm.
Whether you are a nature newbie or a gardening pro, everyone is welcome and there are lots of ways to get involved.
You can bring a plant (or a few!) to swap. We welcome indoor and outdoor plants, seeds, cuttings and vegetable plug plants. All we ask is that everything is healthy, pest- free and clearly labelled.
If you don't have anything to swap, there's still plenty to get involved with. Our friends at Keynsham Group AWT (Avon Wildlife Trust) will be on hand to give you tips on how you can take action for nature right on your doorstep, and the kids can enjoy free nature themed activities in our Craft Corner.
Our pay-as-you-feel cafe will return, serving hot drinks, tasty homemade cakes and biscuits and, if the weather is dry, we will have an outdoor space for you to enjoy. So why not bring a picnic, and let the kids play in the open green space.
Note:
- Parking will be available at Castle Primary School - access via the main entrance on Newlands Road.
- Please bring cash for refreshments and donations as we are unable to take card payments.
This event is organised by gardening volunteers at Castle Primary School, and any proceeds and/or leftover plants will go to support the school.
We are looking for volunteers to help run this event. If you'd like to volunteer, or have any questions about the event, please email [email protected]
