Anyone can music at Meeting room 1, Westbury Park methodists church

A event on Thursday 2nd July. The event starts at 19:30.

“Geo and Simon have curated the perfect environment to channel your musical creativity and get into your body. As well as this, Anyone can Music is a place to connect with others through music, which I believe is an invaluable part of the human experience. Highly recommend.”

Anyone Can Do Music is a welcoming, facilitated group music experience designed for complete beginners, curious creatives, and experienced musicians alike.

This isn’t a traditional jam session and you don’t need any musical training to take part. Through simple exercises, rhythm games, improvisation and collaborative sound-making, we explore what happens when people listen, respond and create music together in the moment.

Expect:

* guided musical exercises\ * group jams and soundscapes\ * a relaxed, low-pressure atmosphere\ * a mix of play, experimentation and connection

The focus isn’t on being “good” at music — it’s about participation, expression, and discovering the shared energy that can emerge when a group starts to find a groove together.

Instruments will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you’d like.

Come make some noise with us.
