Dusty Grooves was born out of an enthusiatic conversation at a mutual friends house about 5 years ago. The concept was simple- build an archive of records acquired from boot sales, charity shops and bargain bins. Maybe get a radio show and start a small listening night to showcase said collection. Back then it was all about the records. It made sense. Over the years our tastes have changed and our collection (both digital and physical) has grown. Because of this we no longer feel as if 'Dusty Groooves' really conveys what we are about anymore.

But like a Pheonix rising from the ashes, we will come back stronger . Well, a bit smaller and less majestic than a Phoenix, and a bit more chubby and grey. But nonetheless, we would like to introduce you to Dusty Grooves metamorphosed- STIFF PIGEON.

We will be playing our spiritual home @mickeyzoggs this Saturday 1900-2300 to celebrate this momentous occassion.
