“Bristol based The Desert first came to the attention of the world with their hauntingly beautiful debut single Just Get High in June last year. Picking up plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Radio X, Gina Leonard’s vocals & lyrics, that are both immediate and gripping, and Tom Fyrer’s atmospheric & detailed production won them many plaudits.”

“Maia: After composing for the past six years Maia has decided now to share her music. She has spent time recording in her living room and university music room , using just a piano and microphone and trying to become the master of the kitchen table tune... Her music is mostly acoustic however, she is also dabbling with GarageBand to play around with the unnatural/synthesised sounds it offers! The current focus is to create more modern, bluesy tunes, exploring beyond the piano. And have some fun!”
