“An all-female space where women can feel comfortable expressing their most sexualized selves and celebrating this expression of their femininity in a safe space separate of the male gaze. Burlesque has historically been a performance by women for the entertainment of men.The show will have an all-female audience with anybody who identifies as a woman welcome.There will be 3 burlesque group dances, drag and spoken word which will punctuate the dances with female musicians performing between sets. It’ll be a celebration of women the poems, songs and performances will focus on the adversity and strength of women.”
