on Sunday 14th December. The event starts at 11:00.
For this experimental life drawing session will be working with the chemigram process, a cameraless photography technique. We will be using wax and varnish resists, which will be applied to the surface of the photographic paper, then scratched into to create a drawing. Photographic chemicals will be used to develop and fix the image.
Sophie Janssens is a Bristol based artist that uses darkroom materials and experimental photographic techniques to create prints. She has been working recently on combining an interest in life drawing with her passion for experimental print making and is excited to share this.
The price of this 3 hour session is £28. Tickets are available from the Negative Thinking website:
If you are curious about alternative photography processes or looking for new ways to explore life drawing, this session will be perfect for you. However, no previous drawing or photography experience is required as all materials will be provided, as well as direction and support from Sophie.
