A
event
on Wednesday 22nd May. The event starts at 18:30.
Join in an all ages early evening community get-together at Netham Park, Bristol. Combining games of 3 Way Walking Football (3 sides/3 goals and no running) as well as snacks, drinks and conversations.
An event that promotes creative opportunities to wonder what PLAY, new alliances and exploring our parks can do for ourselves, the environment and others.
For those not wanting/able to play football there will be the options to referee, make up new games and meet people.
This is a free to access event for community makers, of all kinds, in the Netham Park area and beyond.
Focusing on themes such as 'solidarity', 'access to local amenities ' and 'finding common ground' this event plans to be a supportive, collective experience about tending place, supporting communities and making connections.
This is a chance to get into a different zone, retell histories and hear new stories, find meaning in peer to peer support and discover a time to play and a space to explore new alliances.
Organised by KIN. A alliance of people that meet to support and resource grassroots community workers of all kinds.
