Los Gusanos are, as many tend to put it: “A Latin band with a punk attitude”. Incorporating heavy Colombian and Brazilian influences; their live shows are energetic and virtuosic; and have been likened to watching “a Hendrix jam at a Latin dive-bar”.

In June 2018 Los Gusanos collaborated with a small Bristol label Tapedown Records, to release their debut single “Champeta”. This was followed by a European tour and a residency at the prestigious Troubadour, in Earl’s Court.

In January 2019 they released their second single “Monschau”. Accompanying tour dates include London Jazz Fest, Cheltenham Jazz Fest, Rumpus London, Tropical Pressure and Movimientos (Hootenanny’s Brixton).

2020 saw the release of their second single ‘Tatacoa’, with the band preparing to record their debut full length album in summer 2021.
