Formed by Eric Arthur & Henry Slim in the Spring of 2014, The Slimline Shufflers play a New Orleans style of rhythm'n'blues pioneered by such luminaries as Professor Longhair, James Booker & Dr. John.
Eric, Bristol's finest exponent of this piano style, provides a virtuosic base and is joined by Henry bringing horn-like amplified harmonica & baritone vocals to the mix.
On this occasion, the stellar rhythm section that is Joe Allen (dbl bass), and Emma Holbrook (drums) completes the lineup.
