BODIED CANVAS at Old Library Eastville

A event on Saturday 9th November. The event starts at 17:00.

Women*’s body painting workshop.

*Anyone loosely identifying with the evolving concept of woman.

Because fun and community reinforce each other, we use body painting as a form of individual creative expression and collectively relating to others, passing on an ancient and transcultural practice of decorating one another.

Expect play, music, painting, fire, food and talks.

Bring a friend or come on your own, together we’ll increase social intimacy through the willingness to have fun and be vulnerable as a form of existing and relating.

We build trust through insightful play opening space to negotiate discourses about women’s experiences, womanhood, friendship, intimacy, trust, mutuality,...

In the past we have covered topics from people pleasing and assertiveness to language of self-worth.

The paint we use is specifically designed for skin including face, it dries quickly and washes easily with water and soap leaving no permanent stains on clothes.
