BODIED CANVAS at Old Library Eastville

A event on Sunday 9th March. The event starts at 15:30.

*Anyone loosely identifying with the evolving concept of woman.

Following Women’s Day, this month’s Bodied Canvas more than ever is a toast to female camaraderie and female friendship celebrating difference honouring shared vulnerabilities and inspiring each other through stories and colour.

Because fun and community reinforce each other, we use body painting as a form of individual creative expression and collectively relating to others, passing on an ancient and transcultural practice of decorating one another.

Bring a friend or come on your own, together we’ll increase social intimacy through the willingness to have fun and be vulnerable as a form of existing and relating.

What to expect:
3.30-4.30pm - Introduction, sharing circle and warm-up
4.30-6:00pm - BODY PAINTING JAM
6.00-7:00pm - Communal dinner around the fire
7:00-7:30pm - Welcome to stay to a closing circle

In the past we have covered topics from people pleasing and assertiveness to language and unapologetic self-expression of our value and expertise.

The paint we use is specifically designed for skin including face, it dries quickly and washes easily with water and soap leaving no permanent stains on clothes.

Places are limited to cultivate an intimate, safe space needed to foster trusting playfulness.
