Bristol Hi-Fi is all about good music, good times and good people and this April edition promises to be no different. The date may be April 1st but this ain't no joke!
With special guests Prince Fatty & Shniece stepping up to join Mr Benn & Queen Bee on the stage and get you grooving, this Bristol Hi-Fi show is going to go off!
Blasting out a heavy heavy sound built on a solid foundation of dubby basslines and boom bap beats, there'll be old new stuff, new old stuff, versions, excursions, perversions and musical diversions all
stitched together with a thick thread of dance floor dynamite. Hip Hop, reggae, disco, house, afrobeat, boogie, jungle, soca, funk, soul, dancehall and bucket loads more good vibrations are the order of the night.
Prince Fatty is a producer who's been at the forefront of authentic modern reggae production for over a decade. His passion for vintage studio gear paired with an ability to nail that deep analogue goodness associated with iconic reggae classics has seen him go from strength to strength. Working with an army of top notch vocalists such as Horseman, Winston Francis, Little Roy, Hollie Cook and more, his knack for marrying the best of the old and new is unrivalled. Joining him is his most recent collaborator Shniece, with whom he's dropped a stream of killer reworkings of a bunch of disco and soul classics, as well as a mind bending rootsy re-imagining of Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit, so you know this show is gonna be red hot!
So, find a spot, sip a rum, work up a sweat, it's gonna get lively!
