A
clubnight
held at The Old Market Assembly
on Saturday 12th August. The event starts at 22:00.
'Computer World' is a club night dedicated to playing the very best of before, during and after the 80s synthpop and alternative / electronic music, with the odd curveball and classic disco tune thrown in for good measure!
This month, however, we have a treat for fans of Depeche Mode - a four hour DJ-curated playlist featuring the cream of their FIVE DECADE-SPANNING catalogue! Crikey, now I feel OLD.....
You can expect to hear dance-floor friendly hits, misses, B-sides, album tracks and live versions galore, alongside selected tracks from fellow Mute Records label mates such as Erasure, Yazoo, Fad Gadget, The Normal, Wire and Fortran 5, and augmented by hand-picked 80s cult and commercial electro classics.
DM's catalogue is immense and deep, so steel your dancing feet and vocal cords, it'll be an excellent evening for synthpop fans and Devotees alike!
