WHAT iS SCRiTCH?
SCRiTCH is an inclusive open mic and scratch night for cabaret and performance artists in Bristol and the South West. It's a true melting pot of local talent with no two nights alike!
Our aim is to promote and cultivate Bristol's cabaret and performance art scene. It was born out of a need to address the lack of performance space available in Bristol for both complete beginners and more experienced performers that want to experiment with new material.
SCRiTCH is produced by Pigeon & Bear Productions - an LGBTQIA production company run by local drag kings Oliver Assets and Kurt Sovain! We are also supported by a host of volunteer staff - if you'd like to get involved, please get in touch.
We will be showcasing all kinds of performance art and cabaret acts! Some examples include drag, burlesque, circus, spoken word, dance, political performance art, stand up comedy, live singing, and lip syncing. You don't have to be under the LGBTQIA+ umbrella to perform or attend, but we ask that allies please respect that this is intended as a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community.
