BIG FAT 5 YEARS OF BELOW THE BELT

5 years ago, Below the Belt was born as a collective of creatives and friends helping to put on live music events and make videos. Our first gig was memorably inside a squat and the drumkit was a pair of bongos on a stool we had taken from our uni accommodation.

5 years later, Below the Belt is a team printing band merch from our studio in Hotwells, managing bands, producing music videos and a YouTube live session series as well as promoting gigs still. We've spent the years growing with the Bristol live music scene and have published magazines, ran festival stages and attended many many many many gigs ourselves.

We believe in DIY, independents, locals and good beer and we love Bristol.

Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff.
