Join us for the Stokes Croft Food Project Raffle big draw! With loads of exciting prizes to be won, from tickets to Love Saves the Day, to meals out for two at some of your favourite local Bristol restaurants and eateries.

Stokes Croft Food Project is a collaboration between local businesses, charities and campaigners, set up to tackle hunger and food poverty in Stokes Croft by providing nutritious food to those most in need in our community. We began during the first lockdown back in 2020 as a collaboration between PRSC and Jamaica Street Stores, with a weekly soup run serving in the city centre and St James Park. We then expanded out to a full-time Community Café serving pay-what-you-can lunches on Stokes Croft every day of the week. Our café was the first pay-what-you-can service of its kind to exist in Bristol.

We aim to bring the local community together through the power of mutual aid and the sharing of food and resources. We do not discriminate between customers on the basis of what they can afford, but treat everyone equally, and believe in the power of mutual aid and community spirit to bring people together through a shared meal. Our long term vision is to develop the community café into a shared eating space where everyone can sit and eat together. A space to provide the kind of affordable community hub that Stokes Croft really needs.

All the proceeds from this raffle will go directly to supporting the work of the Stokes Croft Food Project and will help to provide nutritious meals to the local community of Bristol. The price of 1 raffle entry (£2.50) is the cost of one meal at our pay-what-you-can café. You can also buy 5 entries to the raffle for £10. The funds raised from this raffle will go towards the re-opening of our café full time again soon.

The raffle names will be drawn on Saturday, August 28th at midday, we will host a live-stream tombola/name draw where the big winners are revealed. There are over 20 local, exciting prizes to be won so hold tight...
