The Invisible Circus Present: The Great Escape at Online
Supporter Tickets free - £5

A event on Thursday 1st April. The event starts at 20:00.

WE ALL NEED AN ESCAPE!
It has got to be one of the strangest and most conflicted times in our history, especially on a personal level, never have we been so restricted personally and yet also so free in a way, so much has been lost but also an opportunity for different aspects to be found is presented. It is also worthy of note how never before have we as a global community or society collaborated in such a way to try and help each other. Wherever we find ourselves the compromises and conflicts touch us all and the grass as ever seems greener on the other side.
There is a juxtaposition in ways of trying to process or use this time, a pressure to better ourselves, to do all the things we never had time for, clashing with a sense of needing to stop doing, pause and reflect perhaps, and both sides can be tinged with an aspect of despair and doom as much as hope and salvation. This tension is what we are trying to explore and unpack in this, our great escape.
In 2020 we streamed our series The Great Escape, we produced 5 live, online shows, determined to create something for our community. This year we are bringing it back and with it some of the best acts in the world of circus, some Invisible's madness and a chance to be transported into our strange and wonderful world.
