From 'Them' to Now by Jon Ronson at Online

A event on Wednesday 15th July. The event starts at 19:30.

In this intimate event, Jon Ronson will ruminate out loud on the ways his storytelling has evolved over 30 years. He’ll look back on how he began as a somewhat arch-eyebrowed observer of extremists and irrational thought, but then his work developed into something more empathetic and compassionate and curious.

The talk will take in his memories of writing Them, The Men Who Stare At Goats, The Psychopath Test, So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed, and finally his two porn podcasts - The Butterfly Effect and The Last Days of August.

The talk will be followed by a live Q&A for all ticket buyers.

TalkBox is a community organisation that draws people together to collectively engage in talks, debates and discussions. We curate cutting edge, and now virtual, events with informal and welcoming atmospheres. At TalkBox, we believe that positive change seeds from the sharing of information and ideas, and that access to knowledge is a basic human right, not a privilege. Most importantly we believe people learn and retain information better when doing it together!
