------------------------
Before Bristol Transformed Festival kicks off in earnest, join us for a walking tour of Bristol's legacy of slavery and empire.

'Bristol: a Gateway of Empire', published in 1968, was a jingoistic chronicle extolling Bristol’s involvement in colonialism. This walking tour aims to retread the period of Bristol's involvement with slavery, seeing its legacy through a different lens. Led by Bristol Radical History Group's Mark Steeds, this tour of the old city and docks will be engaging, informative, and informal.

Meet outside the main entrance of the M Shed, on the docks. Arrive 5 minutes early - we'll be leaving at 18.00 sharp!

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
