Join us for an inspiring evening with award-winning Palestinian human rights activist Iyad Burnat, in conversation with Sally Azzam, a prominent Palestinian social activist based in Bristol.
Iyad Burnat, head of the Bil’in Popular Committee, has dedicated his life to nonviolent resistance in the fight for freedom, justice, and human rights. In 2015, he received the prestigious James Lawson Award for achievements in nonviolent conflict resolution. Iyad is also the author of Bil’in and the Nonviolent Resistance and appears in the Oscar-nominated documentary 5 Broken Cameras. Copies of his book will be available at the event, with an opportunity for signing.
