Animation Night By Children of Gaza at Bristol Palestine Museum

A event held at Bristol Palestine Museum on Saturday 11th October. The event starts at 16:00.

Join us for a moving and powerful evening of storytelling through animation. Animation Night by Children of Gaza presents 45 short stop-motion films created over 45 weeks by children in Gaza, guided and supported by animator and educator Haneen Koraz & her team. These deeply personal works capture moments of fear, resilience, imagination, and hope, offering a rare opportunity to see the world through the eyes of children living under extraordinary circumstances.
In addition, the program includes films from the Global Anijam project, a worldwide collaboration of animators who contributed short works in solidarity, honoring the creativity and courage of the young filmmakers in Gaza.
Following the screening, Haneen Koraz will join us live from Gaza to share insights into the creative process, the challenges of making these films under extraordinary circumstances, and to answer questions from the audience.
On September 6th, let animation bring us joy, empathy, and unity, reminding us to stand strong against injustice happening specifically in Gaza.
