Starting with a performance from Bristol Palestine Alliance choir, the two-day festival will explore lived experiences under occupation, alongside a showcase of resistance art and a workshop on Palestinian embroidery traditions."

Narratives of Resistance has run fundraiser mini film festivals showcasing Palestinian films in London and major cities around the world. This event now comes to Bristol for the first time.
We will be screening 7 short and feature length films over at The Arc, 27 Broad St.

Films sourced from the archives of the Palestine Film Institute and Nakba Filmworks. Each film will be followed by an opportunity for a short discussion around the key themes of the film. Moderators for the discussions include Tom Sperlinger (academic and author of Romeo and Juliet in Palestine), Petra Mansour (Head of Programme at the Curzon Cinema) and Farooq Siddique (community leader and co-creator of Salam Shalom radio).
