>>>About Rosie From The Block<<<

Based in between her native Brussels and London, Roselien conceived the "Rosie From The Block" side project in late 2021 as a means to explore a more groove-orientated path aimed at the dancefloor. Taking major inspiration from broken beat - the West London-born genre that she was first exposed to whilst residing in the city, pre-pandemic – the artist released her first EP under the new moniker in 2022 via Belgian imprint Vice City, shortly followed by the 'Believe In It' EP on Bristol label Phuture Shock Musik.

Over the last few years, Rosie has caught the attention of big names worldwide such as Lefto, Erica McKoy and Reggie Watts, as well as broken beat legend Kaidi Tatham, who remixed her 2018 single 'Loving'. As a live contemporary soul act, she has also supported shows for world-renowned artists such Gregory Porter, Meshell Ndegeocello and Bilal.

More recently, Rosie has made waves as a DJ, with her debut sets in the UK in 2022 going down very well with the crowds of Bristol, Brighton and London.
