BEEF Winter School Workshop #5 Editing & Direct Drawing on 16mm Film Saturday 11th January : 12pm - 4pm Fun workshop with BEEF artist Laura Phillips Learn to edit, splice and get creative with 16mm film. No prior experience needed. Experiment with collage and cut up material to make unique abstract film. Laura Phillips investigates obsolescence and precarity as narrative devices. Her work explores the complexity of resonance and the incongruence between sound/image, often using a mixture of photochemical processes, found sounds and digital imagery. Materials and tea and coffee will be provided for all Workshops.
