Developing Ideas Workshop at Pennywell Studios

A event on Saturday 23rd November. The event starts at 12:00.

Eliza and Katie lead you through the first, essential stage of any film-making process: ideas.
Access the depths of your imagination with a series of playful, practical exercises. We’ll look at techniques used in fictional, documentary and experimental story-telling, so that by the end of the session you’ll be ready to embark on your film-making journey.

Katie Davies is a video artist exploring the construction and manipulations of identities. She has been a Jury member for the International competition, Short Film Festival Oberhausen, 2018 and has exhibited nationally and internationally. Katie is Senior Lecturer in Media & Cultural Production at The University of The West of England.

Eliza Lomas is an audio producer and has made podcasts and radio programmes for BBC Radio 4, Tate, ABC Radio, Monocle, Crack magazine and more.

Materials and tea and coffee will be provided for all Workshops.

The workshop is 12-3pm
