An Oscar winning documentary about the occupation of Masafer Yatta in the West Bank which Awdah helped to make.

The two films were produced by the Easton Cowgirls and our friends
at Leeds Republica following tours to Palestine in 2014 and 2017
Tickets available via Headfirst or on door
suggested donation of £5 per person
n.o.t.a.f.l.o.f. (no one turned away for lack of funds)
Both the screenings will be followed by discussions on the occupation and genocide that is ongoing in Palestine and what we can each do to resist it and confront the rise of the far right in the UK, which is directly contributing to the genocide of Palestinian people.
We will share food at both events, take time to remember our friend and comrade Awdah Hathaleen (who was murdered in his village, Um Al Khair, South Hebron on 28th July 2025) and most importantly share his story.
All proceeds raised will go to the Hebron International Resource Network.
Long live Palestine .

A note on the location and accessibility: The screenings are taking place in the cinema room upstairs at the Pickle Factory.. This floor has no lift access, which may limit participation for some of our community members. We acknowledge this barrier and apologise.
