Calling all free thinking citizens of The People's Republic of Easton!
The Gumbo Show's Department of Dancing wishes all comrades, members and affiliates to attend The Plough Inn. This is an event fund raising for, and showing solidarity with, the Kurds of Northern Syria and to celebrate the life of Anna Campbell (see below).
Join us for some extra radical shape throwing and the quaffing of fine alcoholic liquids.
Joining Gumbo's Hombrelobo this month will be esteemed vinyl revolutionists Mako (Resense Records) and Gary Scrase (Jus' Begun). All will be armed to the teeth with boogie bombs, red hot bangers and a good assortment proper roof raising records. Come and help us dance our way to a better future, one step at a time...
N.B. This is a free event BUT all the DJs will be donating their fees to the cause. In addition, a very large hat (a bit like the one Corbyn wore on Newsnight) will be circulating throughout the evening and we would LOVE you to help fill it. Thank you. That is all.
