on Sunday 4th May. The event starts at 11:30.
This is a fantastic, playful experience that is a perfect introduction to printmaking for children and adults alike.
In this experience you will be taught all the basic printmaking skills, including:
- How to create a printing plate from Lego Dots
- How to apply with different colour inks on your designs
- How to achieve great results using a Woodzilla relief printing press to make your own artwork
This experience includes all materials and you can even print your own little paper bag to take all your printwork away with you.
A gentle, inventive activity that you can settle into alongside your friends or little ones. Create individualised artwork to take away with you in just an hour and a half
Your experience host, Kate, will show you how to do everything as a group and then offer individual help and tips as you go. At the end of the workshop, you’ll have your own unique Lego prints to take home and frame up!
Kate is an artist and art educator from Bristol who believes firmly that art is for everyone. After teaching art in schools in London, Bucks and Herts for over 15 years she moved into leading workshops and has a particular passion for printmaking.
